This is a poem I wrote after I got done with an endowment session at the Bountiful Temple with Melissa.

There Is A Place Here On Earth Where I Can Go

There is a place somewhere far away
Where my friends and family will be.
There will be no more pain and
Streets of gold. Do you disagree?

But there's a place here on earth where I can go
To feel Heaven's presence near by.
It's the place most Holy that I know
Where Angels are not shy.

It is a place, God's place, here on earth
Where I put my heart in His hands.
There is a place, God's place, here below
Where my sight becomes more grand.

Have you ever walked along the beach
And thought of a place beyond the sea
Where the cares of life are washed away
And only unspeakable joy there will be?

But there's a place so close where you can go.
To let go and be set free.
It's the place most Holy that I know
Where our eyes will truly see.

It is a place, God's place, here on earth
Where I put my heart in His hands.
There is a place, God's place, here below
Where my sight becomes more grand.

Do you want to walk where Jesus walked
And be so close to God?
Do you want to feel fulfilled
And trod where Angels trod?

But there's a place so close where we can go
To feel His peace and love.
To seek blessings for those we know.
And point them to One above.

It is a place, God's place, here on earth
Where I put my heart in His hands.
